We admit being fascinated to utilize the power of water for generating. Hydropower projects are challenging and require the full scale of engineering faculties. In hydropower it is important to build watertight. Economic efficiency is the top priority. Therefore construction methods are already optimized in the planning phase. Knowledge of the biological and thermal processes greatly facilitates the use of biomass. The caloric value, combustible content, temperature range and technical processes must be coordinated and work optimally. The possibilities of combining the energy cycle and the material cycle in a technically meaningful way offer a rich field of activity. Regrowth means making natural plant growth technically usable.

Biomass cogeneration plants

Electrical energy is generated by combusting solid biomass. Heat supply and power generation can be found in biomass steam power plants, thermal biomass gasification plants up to ORC plants. Biomass cogeneration plants can additionally provide heat for use as local-, district- or process heat.

Biomass power plants

Here electrical energy is generated with similar or even the same methods as it is with biomass cogeneration plants. However the waste heat cannot be used and is therefore released into the atmosphere.

Solar cooling

Solar thermal energy can not only meet the need for heat, but also the need for cold during warm summer months. Here, the solar heat is used to operate chillers. Particularly appealing, as increased solar radiation in the summer months leads to particularly high solar heat. This in turn is used for cooling.
